Splash Beach Resort by Panhandle Getaways

Great place for kids!! Would stay again!!

Pros: The location and amenities was top notch for kids! Love all the activities!!

Cons: The pool was extremely cold and the splash pad bucket was scary for my little one! I also wish they would have left more than 4 towels for 5 people for a week

Everything was nice and clean and it worked out nice for our family.

Pros: The staff keeps the common areas very clean and when we asked for extra chairs for the balcony they brought them the next day. :)

Cons: Beach access made it crowded

Pros: The pools, friendly staff, and closeness to the beach

Cons: The elevators. They were too slow or not enough of them

Pros: The access to beach and chairs was great! Bed was very comfortable and privacy of room on end of hall!

Cons: There were no glasses, coffee mugs, or spoons in the room. When I called they said they couldn’t be brought to us until the next morning. I was very disappointed seeing as how I like a cup of coffee before bed. Tub didn’t drain very well either. It was very slow draining.

Pros: We loved how family oriented the resort is. There's so much to do, even on rainy days. We loved the covered splash area for kids!

Cons: The only thing we were disappointed in was the lack of elevators. There is only 1 set of elevators for each building and they were broken when we were there so we had to walk up 8 flights of stairs. Thankfully it was only 8 floors for us though!

Pros: I like that there’s is several things to do not just one pool. Has 2 pools, lazy river hot tub and kid park and not a far walk to the beach.

Cons: Pool water is very cold. Couldn’t stay in but a few minutes because it was so cold. They need heated pools.

One and done

Pros: Beach front property was amazing. The setup and access of the condos were great.

Cons: Was not instructed that the beach was owned by the city and therefore have to rent the beach chair and umbrella for $40/day. There were not any beach accessories available to use, ie. Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, or beach toys. This information was not clearly noted with the exception in fine print buried in the contract regarding fees may apply in regards to the public beach and their rental of beach chairs and umbrellas. No where did the cost appear in the information I recieved.

Pros: The view! The location! How friendly The staff was! Clean.... very clean!

Cons: It wasn't on your end, it was just crowded with 12 women and all the luggage.

Great place for kids but don't expect a smile

Pros: Location was great, the facilities were great, pools were great but a little crowded

Cons: The staff was not very friendly especially one lady was down right rude! None of the staff were nice or even smiling . The hot tub stayed packed with way more people than allowed and there were bunches of kids. There were times when there was no staff to be found.
