Overall, a sensational getaway, offering great amenities in a serene Old Florida setting.

Pros: Fantastically beautiful cottage in a rural setting on a winding creek - truly Old Florida at its very best. Exceptionally roomy with a large deck overlooking the river, and a game room in the basement. Kitchen was stocked nicely, and the bedrooms and bathrooms had plenty of towels and blankets to go around. Inflatable kayak was available for paddling around in the creek right off the property’s private dock. As a bonus, we booked a boat tour with Freshwater Guide Services right next door for a sensational wildlife tour of the local waterways.

Cons: An upgrade in bedding would be welcomed. Sheets didn’t fit the beds properly and felt plastic-y. We all had difficulty sleeping.
