D’s Beach Retreat – Gulf Views

Great place for a vacation!

Pros: Great location. Has everything you need. Just needed a little TLC outside. Which I ended up cleaning up the backyard. I also think the coffee makers need to be replaced. These are not issues that would prevent me from staying there again. There were six of us staying here as well as a dog. We did end up having to reach out to the property managers regarding the AC unit. They responded very quickly and came and dealt with the issue immediately. I will definitely be staying here again.

Loved our stay here, it was perfect!

Pros: Great location, very well decorated and comfortable.

Cons: A/c might need servicing as it was hard to keep the upstairs cool.

Great location for a beach vacation in a renovated townhouse.

Pros: Great location! Well stocked kitchen and bathroom items.The garage area was nice to store items and to rinse off when returning from the beach.

Cons: I didn’t like that we had to wash and dry our towels prior to check out. Also, the townhouse adjoining the unit appeared to be a storage unit with an unkempt backyard.

I would definitely stay again. I loved it here!

Pros: I really enjoyed the property as a whole! The beds were comfy and the house was very spacious. I liked Schooners and the beach being walking distance. The property manager was very responsive and answered any questions I had and very quickly, even over the weekend.

Cons: I wish the property was cleaner. We did have to wash our sheets the first night because there was hair all over the sheets from assuming previous guests. The property as a whole could use a good deep clean (base boards, walls, etc). But overall the common areas were very clean. Also I was worried about flooding from the rain. It rained one day and the road ended up flooding and we were knee deep in water. But that’s obviously no fault to the property owner.

Great weekend getaway to PCB!

Pros: Such a great location for a little weekend getaway! Right on the beach and close to lots of nice food/coffee places and restaurants, as well as other rec activities. The hosts were amazing as well- we had some trouble with the booking and were helped immediately. Also, the garage door wasn’t opening automatically when we got there, and it wasn’t a huge deal to us, but we let them know and they sent someone to fix it immediately which was so nice! They had beach chairs we could use which was great, and we loved the upstairs common area/kitchen and porch!

Cons: The only thing to really complain about is minor stuff. The main bathroom downstairs only has a handicap shower which doesn’t have a top shower head, so we showered upstairs, which was totally fine since it was just us 2, but I could see that being frustrating with a bigger family. Also, since we only stayed 3 days we had everything we needed, but we would have needed to get more supplies if we stayed longer (toilet paper, laundry pods, etc.) Like I said, only minor things!

We had a great time, thank you! We would rent this apartment again.

Pros: Location, location, location. Easy check in and easy check out. Clean upon arrival. Extremely great location and proximity to the beach!! Schooners is literally across the street. I do see where peak season might pose some issues with vehicle and foot traffic, but for our trip it was not an issue.

Cons: The downstairs tub is (I believe) for handicap use—not being handicapped it took a bit to figure it out and ultimately used the upstairs shower (not a big deal). The king bed needs a new mattress—the current one is quite used—there were obvious indentations when we arrived (also not a deterrent from staying here again). But did I mention the location could NOT be better—the ultimate worst thing was that we couldn’t stay longer.

Cons: I wish I could have stayed longer....
